Our Blast Coordinator, Tori Griffiths, will be in touch in mid-October with a starting date and more information once registered.

We ask parents to help Tori with the running of Cricket Blast. Your kids love it when you get involved!

JUNIOR CRICKET

Junior Cricket is ideal for kids aged 9-17 looking to play 'real' games of cricket. The match formats are made to be fun, inclusive and quick. Think shortened pitches, less fielders and short boundaries to maximize the best parts of cricket! And parents - games in Under 10 and Under 11 only go for 2 hours & 30 minutes - junior cricket is not an all day event! Even the older age groups are finished in under 4 hours.

Days & Time: Games start at 8am. Junior Cricket is played on either a Saturday or Sunday depending upon the age group. Days of play for each age group are yet to be set for 25/26 season.

Training: Teams will train one day per week.

LMJCC Values are:

  • Fun - If everyone is enjoying cricket they improve and want to keep playing next season.

  • Mateship - we want our kids to create lifelong friendships and strong support networks.

  • Inclusion - everybody gets an opportunity to play equally & fairly

Many hands make light work, hence we ask all parents that they need to help out with the running of Junior Cricket so it isn't just left to 1 or 2 parents in each team. LMJCC offers help for all our parents to learn how to score, how to be a Team Manager & how to Coach. We are here to help!
